We have taken the best possible precautions for the cold season (November-March), but the Bubble Tent is and remains a tent and cannot be heated like a hotel room. In winter, part of the adventure is that the air temperature in the bubble is almost the same as the outside temperature. You should therefore prepare for your visit in winter with appropriate clothing. The bubble can only be heated slightly. The supply air can be warmed up a little with a small heating element and a cozy electric blanket awaits you in bed alongside thick down comforters.

What you can expect…
This location offers the perfect combination of city and nature. After your forays through the colorful streets of the global metropolis of Berlin, you can unwind in the idyllic tranquility of the Bubble Tent on the edge of a small village. Once you have left the stress and noise of the big city behind you, you will feel yourself relax with every kilometer you travel towards this location. Literally at the end of the road, on the edge of a dreamy forest and lake area, you will find the small, very quiet 3-star “Hotel Reindahls”, to which this bubble tent belongs.
Location
The Bubble Tent is located in Wilkendorf, just a stone’s throw from Straussee and the “green town on the lake” Strausberg. It is located just 10 km from the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park and approx. 45 km east of Berlin Mitte. The location is connected to Berlin’s S-Bahn network by the S 5 (Strausberg Nord S-Bahn station is approx. 3 km away). The 1,111 km longest long-distance cycle route in Germany (Tour Brandenburg) is just 2.3 km away. Right next door (5 minutes’ walk) is the Schloss Wilkendorf Golf Park, ideal for both experienced golfers and those interested in booking a taster course.
In the Bubble Tent
The Bubble Tent is approx. 25 m² in size and offers enough space for two people thanks to its clever room layout. Inside, you can look forward to a stylishly furnished bedroom with a very cozy ambience. A high-quality queen-size bed with two comforters and several pillows, bedside tables with bedside lamps, carpeted floor and two armchairs with a table invite you to relax with an undisturbed view of the greenery and the starry sky. The vestibule offers space for storing shoes and hanging up jackets. The Bubble Tent is permanently supplied with fresh air from outside.
The bathroom
Right next to the bubble tent is a garden shed with a fully equipped bathroom with toilet, washbasin and hot shower. Large and small towels are ready for you. A small infrared radiator ensures a warm nose when brushing your teeth in winter.
Culinary delights
The Bubble Tent includes a covered outdoor kitchen that offers you everything you need for self-catering. You will find a fridge, an induction hob, a kettle, an espresso machine, a toaster, crockery, cutlery, spices, vinegar and oil. You can enjoy your meal on the terrace and take in the view of the greenery. A bottle of water is included. On request, the hotel offers you changing “culinary baskets” containing ingredients for a dinner (e.g. for an Italian evening, a snack or similar). The baskets can be pre-ordered up to 48 hours before arrival. You can find out the current offer directly from the hotel (simply send an e-mail to [email protected]). The hotel also offers a rich breakfast buffet for €16.50 per person (weekdays from 7 to 9 am, Sat/Sun from 8 to 10 am), which you can book on site. There are also a number of good restaurants in neighboring Strausberg, for which the hotel operators will be happy to give you recommendations. The nearest supermarket is only a 5-minute drive away.
Fancy wellness?
The hotel has a Kneipp-inspired sauna, where you can enjoy treatments such as Kneipp showers, arm baths or treading water in addition to the classic sauna session. You can usually use the sauna between 10:00 and 18:00. As the sauna is usually off and only heated on request, we ask you to book at least one day in advance. A 2-hour sauna ticket costs €15.00 per person (minimum 2, maximum 6 people). A sauna package (bathrobe, sauna towel, bath towel, slippers) can be booked for € 13. For 90 € you can use our sauna area exclusively for yourselves for 2 hours.
