Location
Elzach is a state-approved climatic health resort, located in the so-called “Zwei-Täler-Land”, the Elz Valley and the Simonswälder Valley. The town is located about 30 km north of Freiburg in the upper Elz valley. From paragliding to fishing, Elzach with its districts Prechtal, Oberprechtal, Yach and Katzenmoos offers various recreational opportunities. The Bubble Tent is located on a hill, from where a beautiful view of the entire landscape opens up. Whether you want to watch the stars with the kids or toast with a glass of red wine, everything is open to you at the Bubble Tent Elzach.

Under the canopy of untouched trees that benevolently provide you with shade, a scene unfolds that transports you to a world of idyll and tranquillity. Here, in harmony with nature, your needs are catered for: a snack machine satisfies small appetites for a small fee, while a gas barbecue and a charming little outdoor kitchen with selected crockery invite you to enjoy a culinary get-together in the open air. And when the sun is at its highest, a refreshing solar shower promises cooling and freshness. This natural paradise is rounded off by a high-quality dry toilet block that is not only functional but also environmentally friendly.
When the last rays of the setting sun bathe the sky in a picturesque play of colors, it’s time to pause for a moment. Imagine holding a fine glass of wine in your hand, wrapped in the gentle warmth of a hot tub. A gentle whisper all around – it is the sea of torches that illuminates your little oasis with a golden glow and creates an atmosphere of magic and warmth. As soon as dusk slowly fades into the velvety mantle of night, the first stars emerge in the sky – a sparkling spectacle that seems to be playing for you.
This is what your Bubble Tent offers
In the cooler months, the Bubble Tent is heated with a round duct heater so that the inside temperature is a few degrees warmer than outside. For those days when the cold is a little more persistent, we offer you additional sources of warmth: cozy electric blankets and a bedspread with a heat function. They invite you to spend cozy and warm hours in bed – perfect for retreating and enjoying the quiet splendor of winter.
And while you sink into the cozy armchairs that invite you to relax, you can immerse yourself in the endless expanse of the universe through the telescope. Discover the secrets of the stars and be fascinated by the wonders of the night sky.
Food and drink
There is a vending machine for drinks/evening beer and snacks (for a fee). So you do not have to do without drinks or a small sweet even at a late hour. If your arrival is delayed and the restaurants are already closed, you can help yourself from the vending machines. The Adler Inn is located in the immediate vicinity (please note the closing days).
For children and families
A gigantic starry sky regularly opens up over the Black Forest and promises a very special experience. A night hike under the starry Elzach sky with the little ones is a perfect opportunity. If you want to observe the starry sky a little closer afterwards, you can do so at any time with our telescope in the Bubble Tent. Outside the accommodation, the region offers many opportunities for joint activities.
