The Bubble Tent is located in the heart of the Black Forest biosphere reserve – nature and tranquillity start right outside the door. The famous Schluchtensteig, one of the most beautiful premium hiking trails in Germany, starts directly from Todtmoos and leads through wild gorges, past rushing streams and over panoramic heights. Those who prefer a quieter pace will find numerous smaller tours all around.

The wild and romantic Krai-Woog pools with natural bathing spots, other hikes in the biosphere reserve and the Seepark Freiburg are also great places to get active. The imposing Hohenzollern Castle on the Swabian Alb is well worth a day trip.

The region also has plenty of culinary delights to offer: A highlight for the evening is the Gasthaus Sternwarte with Baden cuisine and panoramic views. Other recommendations include the rustic Waldfrieden, the Osteria del Bosco and the modern SaSa Restaurant & Sweets as well as the Konditorei Bockstaller and Café Zimmermann for coffee and cake.
