In one of the darkest places in Germany, ideal for stargazing, you can experience nature in its purest form. Surrounded by deep forests, silence and clear mountain air, you can completely leave everyday life behind you.

Here, fox and hare say goodnight to each other – and that’s exactly what makes this place so magical. The warm, family-run guesthouse makes you feel immediately welcome. Was für ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Es war zwar etwas bewölkt und die Sterne kamen nur vereinzelt zum Vorschein. Aber es ist ein sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Bubble Tent mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien mitten in der Natur. Sehr idyllisch!

Booking & confirmation

As soon as you have completed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the important information about your arrival. In this email you will also find the link to your booking portal, where all the details about your stay are stored

Arrival

Parking is available directly on site. You will find all relevant arrival information in your booking portal, which you will be given access to after booking.

Self Check-in

Self check-in is scheduled from 4 p.m., allowing you to arrive independently and go straight to the bubble tent. In most cases, however, someone is also present at the reception, so you will be welcomed in person

Departure

Check-out is until 10 am. Before check-out, please tidy up, dispose of garbage and leave everything clean.

Around Todtmoos, you’ll find impressive waterfalls, the Hochkopf with its panoramic views stretching all the way to the Alps, the historic Hoffnungsstollen visitor mine, and the famous St. Blasius Cathedral. The waterfalls and summer toboggan run in Todtnau, as well as the historic wooden bridge and thermal baths in Bad Säckingen, are also worth a visit.

A highlight for the evening is the Gasthaus Sternwarte with Baden cuisine and panoramic views. Other recommendations: the rustic Waldfrieden, the Osteria del Bosco, the modern SaSa Restaurant & Sweets as well as the Konditorei Bockstaller and Café Zimmermann for coffee and cake.

The wild and romantic Krai-Woog pools with natural bathing spots, hikes in the Black Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Freiburg Seepark are all great places to get active. Hohenzollern Castle on the Swabian Alb is well worth a day trip.

Free parking directly at the property.

From the center of Todtmoos, you can take bus line 7320 to the Schwarzenbach stop. From there, it’s about a 2–5-minute walk.

You can enjoy the beautiful bike paths in the area by bike. You’re welcome to park your bikes on site. Please note, however, that there are some elevation changes here.

Important note

On site, it is also possible to add breakfast and/or dinner upon request with the host. However, this depends on availability. Please contact the host directly after booking to arrange this.

The bubble is air-supported and has an airlock entrance. A gentle flow of air maintains the shape and provides fresh air.

What is included in the basic equipment of the Bubble Tent?

The Bubble Tent has a cozy double bed with fresh bed linen, light, a wardrobe and seating in and in front of the tent. There is also a toilet, shower and sauna in the guesthouse.

How many people can stay overnight?

Maximum 2 adults + 1 child; in case of special requests it is possible to stay overnight in the apartment.

Where are the bathroom and shower located?

The bathroom (toilet + shower) is located in the guesthouse.

Is the sauna included?

Yes, the sauna is located in the guesthouse and is included in the price.

Is there electricity and light in the Bubble Tent?

Yes, you have a power supply and lighting - so you can charge as normal and make yourself comfortable.

What is included in the breakfast basket?

The breakfast basket contains regional and fresh breakfast products depending on availability.

What ways of payment do you accept?

You pay online with PayPal, credit card, voucher, or Klarna.

Cancellation or rebooking - what is possible?
