In the middle of the idyllic Black Forest, in Todtmoos-Schwarzenbach, a special retreat is being created: the Bubble Tent. In one of the darkest places in Germany, ideal for stargazing, you can experience nature in its purest form. Surrounded by deep forests, silence and clear mountain air, you can completely leave everyday life behind you.

Here, fox and hare say goodnight to each other – and that’s exactly what makes this place so magical. The warm, family-run guesthouse makes you feel immediately welcome. Was für ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Es war zwar etwas bewölkt und die Sterne kamen nur vereinzelt zum Vorschein. Aber es ist ein sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Bubble Tent mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien mitten in der Natur. Sehr idyllisch!
Alles sehr sauber und alles da was man braucht. Vielen Dank für das tolle Wochenende!

As soon as you have completed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the important information about your arrival. In this email you will also find the link to your booking portal, where all the details about your stay are stored

Arrival

Parking is available directly on site. You will find all relevant arrival information in your booking portal, which you will be given access to after booking.

Check-in

Check-in takes place directly at the guesthouse. You will be personally welcomed there, given all the important information about your stay and then accompanied to the bubble tent.

Departure

Check-out is until 10 am. Before check-out, please tidy up, dispose of garbage and leave everything clean.

Discover Todtmoos

Nature and tranquillity start right outside the door. A special highlight in the evening is the observatory with a fantastic view of the starry sky. Other recommendations: the rustic Waldfrieden, the Osteria del Bosco and the modern SaSa Restaurant & Sweets.

The wild and romantic Krai-Woog pools with natural bathing spots, hikes in the Black Forest biosphere reserve and the famous Schluchtensteig trail are all great ways to get active. A trip to Seepark Freiburg is also well worthwhile. Hohenzollern Castle on the Swabian Alb is also recommended for a day trip.

A highlight for the evening is the Gasthaus Sternwarte with Baden cuisine and panoramic views. Other recommendations: the rustic Waldfrieden, the Osteria del Bosco, the modern SaSa Restaurant & Sweets as well as the Konditorei Bockstaller and Café Zimmermann for coffee and cake.

The wild and romantic Krai-Woog pools with natural bathing spots, hikes in the Black Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Freiburg Seepark are all great places to get active. Hohenzollern Castle on the Swabian Alb is well worth a day trip.

Free parking directly at the property.

From the center of Todtmoos you can take the bus line 7320 to the bus stop Schwarzenbach. From there it is about a 2-5 minute walk.

You can enjoy the beautiful cycle paths in the surrounding area by bike. Bicycles can be parked on site. Please note, however, that there are a few meters of altitude difference here.

It is also possible to book dinner on site on request from the host. However, this is subject to availability. Please contact the host directly after booking.

The bubble is air-supported and has an airlock entrance. A gentle flow of air maintains the shape and provides fresh air.

What is included in the basic equipment of the Bubble Tent?

The Bubble Tent has a cozy double bed with fresh bed linen, light, a wardrobe and seating in and in front of the tent. There is also a toilet, shower and sauna in the guesthouse.
